You will see there are more tips for Android than IOS. From my experience in using most OS (Android, IOS, Windows 7.5 Mango, Linux, Symbian, etc.), i found android are truly battery drainer. On a typical day of usage of a smart phone with a 1500mAh battery capacity, my phone can only last from 8am to 1pm. As for my IOS, based on same usage on a 1400mAh battery capacity, my phone are able to last till 6pm without interval charge.

My Battery Saving TIPS:

For IOS, always standby an additional charger in your car if you are a mobile person like me and a additional USB for a office based person.

For Android, CHANGE TO A NEW PHONE! you might claim that android are better in terms of customisation, but with such inconvenience, you might as well change a phone. Alternatively, use it as a 2nd phone. Or 3rd phone after windows 7.5 mango. For those hardcore Android supporter, you can also standby an additional charger in your car if you are a mobile person like me and a additional USB for a office based person.
