New Product - Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 -

If you think your Samsung Galaxy Note is big, think again. With the new Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1, it's like using a tablet to make calls, send sms, or even mms.

Here are some of the official photos for the GN10.1

You might be wondering since Samsung just launched the Galaxy Tab 2, why come out with another tablet? Again, this is no ordinary tablet. Unlike the Galaxy Tab 2, this GN10.1 comes with amazing specs.

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 at a glance:

• Form factor: Tablet
• Dimensions: 262 x 180 x 8.9 mm
• Weight: 600g
• Display: 16M-color 10.1" PLS LCD capacitive touchscreen of WXGA resolution (1280 x 800 pixels)
• OS: Android 4.0.4 Ice Cream Sandwich, TouchWiz UI
• Chipset: 1.4 GHz quad-core Cortex-A9 CPU, Mali-400MP GPU, Exynos 4 Quad chipset, 2GB of RAM

• Proprietary 30-pin connector for charging and connectivity

A look into the specs you will find an Amazing Speed with a 1.4GHz Quad Core cortex A9 CPU with a massive 2GB RAM! How many phones or tablets will you come across this amount of RAM? And on top of the built in storage, you still able to store externally via a microSD card. And finally, the battery capacity, it's a WOW! 7000mAh!!! You can enjoy a long time use on this baby,,,,

And on top of that, the GN10.1 also comes with a new redesigned S Pen!

The S Pen sports the same wealth of features as before. You can use it for writing or drawing, but it can also be used to navigate the UI. With the button on its side, you can do gestures - a swipe to the left is back, a swipe down opens up the context menu and a double tap opens the S Memo mini app. A press and hold captures a screenshot.

Now, do you think this is a normal tablet? I hope not…. the only downside for this phone/tablet is the price. The price that I was informed was about RM 2,499 without contract!!!

Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1

Good News for Samsung Lovers....

The Brand New Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 is set to launch by end of August. Reports / Rumours indicated that Samsung is ready to announce the U.S. availability on the 29th August 2012.

While I do not have the actual unit on hand to do a personal review, I managed to get some info through the web.

At a glance:

• Form factor: Tablet
• Dimension: 256.7 x 175.3 x 8.9 mm
• Weight: 583g
• Display: 16M-color 10.1" PLS LCD capacitive touchscreen of WXGA resolution (1280 x 800 pixels)
• OS: Android 4.0 Ice Cream Sandwich, TouchWiz UI

Same as the Galaxy Note, the 10.1 comes with the S Pen. And this time, it offers a slot for it, instead of having to carry it separately. And similar to the original Note, it will comes with some exclusive apps including S Note, S Planner, Crayon physics, Adobe® Photoshop® Touch, and Polaris Office.

And for those who prefer to watch video than read, here is a Introductory Video for the Galaxy Note 10.1

Like it? Love it? Want to get one immediately? As mentioned, it will be launched this month but do not expect it to reach Malaysia soon. Reserve one for Christmas instead. It won't be cheap, as European pricing is set at €479 for the Wi-Fi only version and €599 for the 3G-enabled units. You do the maths.
