Recommendation: BlueAnt Q2 Bluetooth Headset

Hi,

It have been quite some time since my last post. Was busy preparing for the launching of our web store. Anyway, I am back again to blog. As above topic, today I would like to recommend a bluetooth headset that I am currently using. The best unit I have use so far.

While most people do not likes to use a bluetooth headset even if they are driving (not only cause danger to ourself but to others too), I prefer to use one. Reason being using a BT headset will get me out of trouble with the cops. I hate it when I got stopped and being summoned for talking on the phone while driving.

We discussed about using BT a while ago, and for those who missed the topic, click here.

So, some info about BlueAnt Q2 BT headset.

Also called a " Smart Bluetooth Headset" with HD Audio. BlueAnt Q2 is the Bluetooth headset filled with rich audio, unsurpassed call clarity and industry best wind noise reduction. This is the best sounding Bluetooth headset ever built. It's because BlueAnt engineers designed the Q2 by selected the best audio components, precision tuned and tested in a professional sound studio.

Aside, this smart Bluetooth headset is distinguished. It's includes a comprehensive voice recognition command set, text to speech technology that announces the name of incoming caller. Aside, BlueAnt had developed a SMS readout application for Android OS to enhance the products features. The application is free for download in Google Play Shop.

New Phone - Nexus 4 -

I am sure most of you are aware of the New Google Nexus 4. But in case you are not aware due to hectic life, workloads, family commitment, blah blah blah... here are some info.

The new Nexus 4 are the latest Google Phone produced in partnership with LG Mobile. It was supposed to be officially launched on the 26th October 2012 during the Google Event. Unfortunately, the event was called off since Sandy came earlier to US. Who is Sandy anyway, hmm... her full name was Hurricane Sandy. Hurricane Sandy was a tropical cyclone that are very much interested with the Google Event. Many was curious on why I said so... reason? As mentioned, she came in a rush and destroy everything that was in her way.... Haha... Sorry for the lame joke. Anyway, I really feel sorry for those who are affected, let's pray that everything will goes back to normal.

Ok. Enough of Sandy. I should focus on the Nexus 4 since he is the real starring for the day!

Let's share some of the features of Nexus 4.

Hardware
4.7" 1280x768 pixel resolution (320ppi) WXGA IPS Screen with Corning(R) Gorilla(R) Glass 2
Qualcomm Snapdragon(TM) S4 Pro Processor clocked at 1.5GHz (Quad-Core)

Cameras: 8 MP - Front / 1.3 MP Rear
8 GB or 16 GB Internal Storage with 2 GB RAM
Battery : 2100mAh
Connectivity: MicroUSB / SlimPort HDMI / 3.5mm headphone jack
Wifi 802.11 b/g/n
NFC (Android Beam)
Bluetooth full
Wireless Charging

Software
Android 4.2 Jelly Bean

Nothing special?
Wait till I drill down to the details...

While Apple was very proud with their Retina Display on the iPhones, the Nexus 4 comes with a WXGA IPS Screen that offers resolution of 320 ppi which is only 6ppi lesser than the new iPhone 5 (326ppi). This would means that with a bigger screen of 4.7", Nexus 4 will definitely impress the on lookers.

As for the battery capacity, it's the same as the Samsung Galaxy S3 at 2100mAh. However, due to the lack of LTE technology with the Nexus 4, it is expected that the battery will last longer than S3 as the current LTE technology are a pure battery drainer. While the speed of LTE are fast, they are also fast in draining the battery capacity. With Google taking off the feature, it might not be a bad idea.

With Android 4.2 Jelly Bean comes as the stock ROM, the Nexus 4 offering better features as compare to the Galaxy S3. With the latest Google Apps, you will be enjoying a brand new experience in using Android. Gone are the days where all the flaws are been seen in the OS, but with Jelly Bean 4.2, you can rest assured that you will be a happier person using the Smartphone.

Another feature of Jelly Bean 4.2 worth to be share is the AMAZING PHOTO SPHERE CAMERA!!! With Nexus 4, you can take a 360 degree panoramic photos !!! This is the 1st phone which offer a full 360 degrees experience. You can even feel that you are there while looking on it.

Oh, before I forget, the recommended retail price are USD 299 for the 8GB and USD 349 for the 16GB. Are you going to get one? I sure interested. So let's see how it goes when it reaches our shore. Will grab one if the price is lower than RM1200!

That's all for tonight.

See ya...
